Aluminum Die Casting Molds
Production tooling for aluminum housings, brackets and structural components.
Explore MorePump housings require a coordinated casting, machining and validation plan. The tooling review considers the flow geometry and wall transitions, while the machining plan establishes sealing faces, ports and mounting features. Acceptance requirements should identify the characteristics that determine function in the finished assembly.

Define the test medium, pressure, duration and acceptance limit if a leak test is required. Machined surfaces can expose subsurface porosity, so the location of critical interfaces should be known during the initial manufacturing review. Additional processing, inspection and cleaning are quoted only after their requirements are agreed. Protective packing should prevent damage to the finished sealing and mounting features.
